moreThe Remedy: Recess Edition
May 21, 2025 5:30pm
This month, The Remedy invites you to return to play with Recess Edition, a conversation on how physical activity becomes a powerful tool for healing—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
We’re bringing together leaders from the movement and fitness community to share their personal journeys of how movement has supported their mental health, offered emotional release, and reconnected them to their inner child. These stories will highlight the often-overlooked connection between physical activity and emotional well-being, showing how movement can be more than just exercise—it can be therapy.
Together, we’ll explore:
- How movement helps us process emotions and tap into childlike joy.
- The mindset shifts needed to embrace movement as part of a holistic healing journey.
- Common challenges in staying active and how to overcome them with grace.
- Celebrating small wins and redefining what “fitness” looks like for every body and every season of life.
Weather permitting, we’ll also invite attendees to participate in a light, joyful movement activity to embody the conversation and experience the power of play firsthand. Participation is always optional, and all bodies and abilities are welcome.
